The 2023 Corolla 1.2T was sold in China from May 2023 in Pioneer and Elite trims. The 1.2-litre turbo makes 85 kW (116 PS) and 185 N·m and drives the front wheels through a CVT with ten simulated steps; WLTC combined consumption is 5.88 L/100 km. The Elite brings LED headlights, a power sunroof, 16-inch wheels with 205/55 R16 tyres, a 9-inch touchscreen, reversing camera and six speakers. It keeps the 4,635 mm body and double-wishbone rear suspension shared with every Corolla since 2019. For dealers, a used 2023 1.2T is a lower-cost way to offer a recent, well-equipped Corolla where hybrid servicing is not yet common.
